This analytic work examines different ways to lift classic folding techniques to a higher level. Primarily double layered card board was used. Referring to the results the comercial project "Knikits" was born.








Lamello is a combination of a fan and a heater. So it can be used all year round. Two rotors, facing each other, increase the efficiency. Project partner: Johanna Lokotzke.



Morphing nano robot structures, touch sensitive surfaces, gesture recognition... This animation pictures a possible way to ombine these technologies in a future kitchen environment. Project partner for concept design: Steffen Mölter




Landing gear and tires are about 20 % of an average airplanes weight. Therefore aviation industries are searching for alternatives. Our concept combines lightweight hovercraft technologies and a box wing airplane. This light airplane consumes less fuel, saves time and needs less space while landing and take off. The result: a lot of energy could be saved and the whole infra structure of airports could be changed in the future as well. Project partner: Jan Weigand.








This example is part of visalization project for a cultural center. The main focus: providing a realistic lighting situation by using the IES Data of the real luminaires.

I prepaired this helmet as a tutorial for my teaching at Coburg University. The focus was on advanced CAD surface modelling. All renderings were made with Photoworks. Finally a basic animation which shows the helmet from all sides and gives one exploded view of the main parts.





We focused on an outstanding appearance away from current competitors. Besides each product has it's unique selling proposition. The toaster is able to toast buns inside. The jugs have a top scale indicading clearly the volume while filling. Project partner: Markus Mak.







Cutting a well proportioned and detailed figure out of one single bole was a real challenge. This was one of the best experiences in sculpting i made.


Aim of the project: find situations for small products using there present environment. Adding additional function by finding the unused potential of surrounded products.
